I suggested the eight armed sea star, M.calcar, but that would mean 3 arms are hidden in the photo and there does not seem to be enough room.

I am hovering between Nectria sp.& Plecaster decanus. Maybe Jennyncmg could help? looks as if it is mosaic [P.d]with concave pattern but the colour doesn't match.
