Thank you, Pam. Virginia Greasley, Lyndall’s neighbour. She encouraged me to register it. I’ve sent the photo as a mystery, around the world. A Norwegian friend recognised it, saying she had seen them there. A friend in Sydney thought it would be fungal, though I gave no indication it was even a plant. Thanks for your encouragement.
