The arrangement of the veins in the wings are important identifiers to differentiate Ichneumonidae and Braconidae. In this specimen the vein arrangement is unfortunately not clear, so I support KimPullen in saying either/or.

It's really helpful to know what to try and photograph - I usually try to get wing venation and the top of the head, but did not realise the thorax, along with the antennae and ovipositor, were also important diagnostics.
