Yes, we suggested glossy black cockatoo. In the photo, in addition to the bird in flight there's one in the tree to the right. We see them now and then at our own place nearby to this sighting, but yes getting photos is not easy.

Hi, congrats on actually getting a photo. Not always easy with these guys. Just curious - did you suggest glossy black cocky as the ID or just put them up as unidentified bird? The system seems a bit broken at the moment and I'm trying to work out to what extent.
