Yes, thats true about the left tip, and I agree about the habit.
Looking at the second photo blown up, there are a few leaf tips mid-centre-right that appear to be deeply notched (like longifolia, and not like other Lomandra): I assumed these were young plants.
What species do you suggest ?

The growth form is not L.longifolia, other species have toothed tips.
