Beautiful fungus growing out of fallen Allocasuarina alongside the Brogo River

This is commonly referred to as Turkey Tail. Really need to see the pores beneath.
This species is used as a medicinal fungi and has been used in Asain countries for many years. Even in USA, its possible to purchase this on line
