I think Centipeda sp. might be as far as we can get with this thing from Brogo Dam. I tried to key it out with the plant in the hand and gave up in the end. The smaller leaved, more prostrate entity seems to be Centipeda minima, and this more erect thing looks different enough to be another species, but I couldn't get it to key to anything.
My initial thought was Centipeda cunninghamii, which has bigger flower heads (4-8 mm diameter) than Centipeda minima (2-4 mm diameter). It tends to be upright and minima tends to be prostrate. However, both can have ascending stems, as in this photo. The PlantNet key does not help, having cunninghamii at lead 8, and no lead towards lead 8.
