User's notes

Monarch? flew into the window glass on my verandah. Cat then caught it. I then took it away from cat and held it gently near my heart for around 5 minutes, thinking it was dying. It closed its eyes, but heart still beating. I went to put it into a box thinking that might make it feel safe, but if flew out of my hand, in the loungeroom where it then sat on the curtain rod. Managed to catch it again, took it outside to a bushy area, ensuring cat not around. It then flew away, hopefully living another day.
