Beautiful images of a stunning dragonfly! I agree with you identification. I doubt those are dragonfly eggs, however ... sorry to disappoint. Dragonflies lay in water, and this species inserts the eggs into water plants. The eggs in your photo appear to be Lacewing eggs - Order Neuroptera. So this is actually good news ... two insect orders in the one photo!
