Hi, not enough info to go on with that photo I'm afraid. A side on shot as well would have been good, to see if there is a dark streak from the eye back to the ear. I'm pretty sure it is one of the tree frogs (Litoria) but without being able to see the finger and toe discs (swollen tips) I can't even be positive of that. The coloured patches often present in groin and armpit are also a handy feature to try and photograph. Better luck next time.
Based on its length (probably around 45mm, based on size relative to hand) and the presence of a thin, whitish stripe running along the dorsal midline of the head, I’d say it’s likely to be Litoria peronii, the Emerald Spotted Tree Frog. But as you say Jackie, a side on shot would have helped to be sure.
Although it's not the best photo (no offence) to go on, I reckon it's most likely to be Litoria dentata. The main reasons being general morphology, which is largely about proportions, sometimes subtle and in this case looks just like the Litoria dentata that I've seen. The relatively narrow head is proportionally smaller compared to the relatively plump, rounded body and features unlike the other Litoria sp., at least in this part of the country.
