Crithmum maritimum - rock samphire. Found on high tide line at base of two south west facing cliffs. ID confirmed on 27 March 2018 by Dave Albrecht from the Australian National Herbarium.

In 2009, I surveyed 115 beaches between Batemans Bay and Shellharbour and did not encounter this species. Appears to be a rare exotic on the NSW coast.
