I've only known this as "samphire". I don't even know what category 2 to put it in.

Hi Marg, Actually this is seablite, not samphire, which is Sarcocornia, but they hang out together, along with a bunch of other succulent saltmarsh plants starting with S (Selliera, Samolus, Spergularia).
