HI Chris, I agree re cropping, but do you know you can right click on the photo, then on open in new tab, which downloads the photo to your computer, where you can zoom in using whatever photo software you use. On doing this, I reckon the 3rd and 4th photos are good enough to say that it is a Sq-t kite. Jackie
Thanks Jackie, I did snip and copy but with both I loose the clarity so the original photo has been shrunk, so cropping here is what should happen, or has only a few pixals, ie from a phone. If it was a difficult species to ID then it would be inconclusive.
Yep, good point, crop tightly to the subject and then resize the photo (assuming camera and computer upload rather than via a phone - I've no idea how they handle reducing the file size), rather than just resizing the whole photo with the bird a dot in the middle of it. I see this was from a phone, so the options are probably very limited for file manipulation before uploading.
