User's notes

Scraggly shrub around 1m. Sharp thorns including occasional single thorn in the middle of the leaf. Leaves quite soft and velvety.

Probably Solanum stelligerum. Check others in this group in the key to be sure.

At the Milton R Landcare Nursery we've pondered over this local Solanum many times. Seems to have paler and duller leaf than shown in references available.
