HI Betty, Not sure if this is a different record to your photoless record, as I didn't pay attention to the exact location of that one - same general area I think. I can't see any leaf undersides on this photo to tell if it is subsp spinosa or lasiophylla, but I'm pretty convinced we don't have spinosa spinosa down here. I always check the leaf underside, and I haven't found any green ones yet, though sometimes the hoariness is a bit low key. I have seen definite spinosa spinosa on the CT (Evans Crown NR between Oberon and Lithgow) so I've got my eye in for the difference.
