Hi Betty, I'd be very inclined to suspect that is Astrotricha sp Wallagaraugh in that location. I don't think I've seen linearis south of Batemans Bay.

I was wondering about that and checked it out in Vicflora this morning. The key in Vicflora stated that in Astrotricha sp. 5 (sp. Wallagaraugh), “leaf upper surface with many conspicuous coarse obtuse wrinkles, often each surmounted by a short triangular asperity”. There is almost the same wording in the Plantnet description.
The leaves did not look like that on my big computer, but rather were “lacking conspicuous wrinkles”. However, when I blew the photo up just now on the ipad, I was not so sure. Given where it was photographed, I think I agree with you.

Yeah, I think you have to view the upper leaf wrinkles with a generous eye for that species. I dimly recall having the same problem when trying to key it out.
