(White Drummer) https://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.taxon:4da17c27-b3f4-4fad-b87c-1879553dd091. The wing segments and body marking seem to match - Paul?

Also match the description and photos of this species in Moulds book Australian Cicadas. He says they’re a coastal species, never found far from the sea. Those distinctive white things are tymbal covers. He reports the southern limit to be Narooma, which fits with the ALA records.

Thanks, this was a new one for me, and yes, it was close to the sea, just a couple of hundred metres away I'd say.
