From the large size of the finger and toe pads and the rather warty upper surface I'd say this is Peron's Treefrog - the fact that is it in a tree helps too! The colouration is darker than usual (must have been trying to blend into a dark background) so the characteristic green freckles are not apparent, nor the cross in the pupil, but this far south there is not much else it can be. They often come to lights and clamber onto windows after insects too.
