Sorry. no additional photos. I was worried it wasn't 100% dead and stayed my distance from the head end.

Fair enough. It's better to be safe than sorry and it was a wise decision not to approach any closer, as it's not obviously dead.
Is it too much to ask you to crop the original file (around the head) and add that? It's just that I'd ideally like to get a closer look at the head before giving a positive ID.
