Thanks for the additional image that shows the decurrent gills (lamellae) and their colour. This species shows variation in the lamellae colour at times.
Hmm, this is also coming up as being in Nadgee, not Tura, and needs fixing. Also, if you already had a top down image of the same fungus, you can add another image of it by editing your first sighting (find that sighting in "species, unidentified", click on edit button up the top, drag and drop in a new photo) rather than adding a new sighting of the same thing. The system takes a bit of getting used to but is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it :-)
Thank you for all your tips, I’m still learning my way around loading photos on here, , and will admit l did struggle as l was trying to put these up on the app, but contacted Kerri-Lee and she advised me to load them on the web. I was doing ok until the green pin went where l didn’t want it to go.
OK, so I discovered I could edit your sighting, so I've moved the pin by the method I suggested in yesterday's comment and that worked. You can move it any number of times, so you don't have to get the location exactly right first time, just zoom the map right out so you can see Merimbula, plonk the pin a bit north of it, then zoom in again to get the location more exact. I just stuck it in the middle of Tura Flora Reserve, but you can position it more accurately if you zoom in close. Never tried the phone app myself, but on the computer it is pretty straightforward after a bit of trial and error.
Thanks Jackie, l did work out how to edit and move the location pin on all fungi photos last night, when l checked they all looked ok so if you were still seeing them in the Nadgee reserve I’m not sure why l could see the changes but you couldn’t, but thank you for correcting them.it’s greatly appreciated.
😊 l have many photos of fungi that l photographed the other day from in and around the nature reserve and in the surrounding bush, l shall try and get some more up for identification.
