We photographed these (same individuals I'd say) on 13 June and were pretty convinced, based on the photo on p253 of Fuhrer 1st edition, that this is Ganoderma resinaceum, but that species would need to be added to the list before it can be confirmed.

Very likely the same. Fungi don't move like animals so they'll probably show up again with the planned group visit to Goodenia Rainforest on July 7.

It is very difficult to decide on species from images alone as you can read in the descriptive notes for this species, so I will leave this at Ganoderma sp. as it was not collected and I have NOT checked the spores microscopically.
