This well fed animal was basking in the last rays of sunlight, as I kayaked toward Merimbula, on Merimbula Lake

It looks to have a pretty blunt nose, so I'm happy to say it is an Aust and not a NZ fur seal, whose muzzle is pointier according to our mammals field guide.
