I worked it out myself Jackie, there are some good beetle sites on the net and I have lots of books. But it was confirmed by Tom Weir, CSIRO!

Thanks Jackie, I have been collecting insects all my life and have a great library of insect books. I did a year of enytomology at Uni and as I said earlier there are some great insect sites on the net. And the Jewel Beetles are a much favoured group with insect enthusiasts and pretty well known. So I was pretty confident with the name!
