This was a large, chunky jumping spider, about 10-11 mm in length. It was struggling with, but holding on tight to, a squirming Chauliognathus beetle that I haven't been able to ID to species despite being very distinctive. This action was happening about 1.6 m above the ground on a eucalyptus tree trunk.
