User's notes

Surprisingly large for the physical structure. Leg span somewhere between 3-4 inches I think. Was originally sitting on Kikuyu under a eucalyptus stand.

Yep, crane flies tend to be pretty big insects. Usually obliging about sitting for photos too, which is nice. It was good that you caught the wing vein pattern in the 2nd shot, which can be helpful for ID.
