There are two very similar native Solanum species, prinophyllum and pungetium. I've said prinophyllum for this one because it looks like the leaves are going to be glossy and hairless (apart from the first couple), while pungetium leaves are dull and covered in short fine hairs. They both have prickles on the leaves, stems and flowers, and people love to assume they are a weed because of this inconvenient feature, but they are native, and common after disturbance.
