We have seen this bird about from time to to time, but this is the first time we have managed to photograph it.

Good photo, with enough detail to see that it lacks the small amount of blue skin running between the yellow cere and the base of the beak, which differentiates it from Collared Sparrowhawk, according to the CSIRO field guide. Also it has the more pronounced eyebrow ridge giving it a frowning expression.
