First photo shows flower stalk, second has leaves (blurred) in background. Flower looks like a Prostanthera though not the plant? Sorry to be vague again!
Yep, both in the mint family, but Plectranthus is only a herb, never gets very big or woody. If you have any rocky areas you might also get the more succulent leaved P. graveolens.
