Thank you for the correction. It didn’t look quite right for the plover but I couldn’t identify it.

You wouldn't expect Double-banded Plovers in Australia to have a full lower breast band, either. They are trans-Tasman winter migrants to Australia and are generally only seen here in their non-breeding plumage.
