User's notes

A group of 8 glossy black cockatoos feeding on casuarina cones. The group included 1 pair plus an immature bird, the rest were adults. They were on the track to the right of the Warden Head lighthouse, heading towards the lookout, in an area of dense low-ish casuarina bushland. A very special and unexpected sighting on our walk.

Fantastic. I can confirm this, but I am still jealous, as I don't see them up my way.

Yes, it was fab. This was my first sighting of these birds and we were so lucky to be able to observe them for a while.
