Hoping this plant is Solanum prinophyllum, not an unwanted weed. It’s growing in full shade near the house, but as we have some land under a conservation agreement, I’d like to make sure it’s a keeper. It has long spindly stems but it’s not a climber. Thanks, very much, as always.
Yep, correct, I think. Solanum pungetium is very similar but has finely hairy leaves (beneath the prickles), while prinophyllum leaves are hairless and glossy.
