Hi Jennifer, Is your location accurate? Looks a bit middle-of-nowhere-ish. If your camera or phone has got it wrong, you can move the pointer in the map just by clicking in the right spot.

Hi Jackie, I'm sorry but the location was a bit of a random guess. I'm just figuring out how to use this platform. For some reason it doesn't read the location. Any Gulaga photos will be from the walking track. I'll try to do better.

Hi Jennifer, This looks like a young assassin bug to me. It has the long curved back rostrum (snout or beaklike projection) and (I think) a distinct neck between the head and pronotum (shoulders).
Try to get a few photo angles where you can to make ID easier.

OK, re location, you can change it for this sighting by clicking on edit button (top right), then on the map. Use control button and scroll wheel to zoom in till the track appears, then click in the spot you want to show the record as being. Approximate is fine, but a plausible spot is preferable to up in the head of some insanely steep gully!
