Is this a significant extension of the known distribution of this species? The Atlas of living Australia does not show any recordings on the coastal plain.

My friend had one near Macquarie Pass some 10 years ago but I could never find one as they hang around waterfalls in sunny spots but wander a fair way to feed.

Sorry, it was just a generalist comment on image rather than id:) - willing to be more exact, yes easily seen to be a dragonfly. Yes your opinion does matter.
