Looks like Limnodynastes dumerilii to me, the pobblebonk. any further info available, eg the nature of the call or the size of the critter? Resonant "bonk" would make it L. dumerilii, rachetty noise like a thumbnail over a comb would make it Crinia signifera. With no idea of size I can't get any further with this one.
OK, L. dumerilii is usually a fairly big frog, but they have to be small before they get big. Nothing else down here says "bonk" - well, L. peronii says "tock" but higher pitched.
