Lovely clear images of this delightful little polypore. Note those distinctively (coffin!) shaped pores. I always feel when I start to see these around that the 'fungal' season is beginning..........

Thanks Pam - I had wondered about this species, but was not confident enough, I thought it was not woody enough as compared to some other examples.
