Looks like it might be Psathyrella candolleana, though can't be confident enough to id it as such, sorry. So will confirm your id.

Thanks Pam. Is there any other info I should be looking for to help with ID?

Starting from the top of the fungus and working down; the cap, the shape, texture and colour and any ornamentation on the top or 'bits' hanging off the edge; the gills, the colour and spacing, are they widely spaced or crowded, if possible to break or cut a small pie out of the cap so the type of gill attachment to the stem helps, this should also show the shape of the gills; the stem, colour, shape, are the sides parallel or does it taper to top or base, is it thick, thin, twisted etc., sometimes if you give it a squeeze you can feel if it's solid or hollow, is there any ornamentation on the stem surface, i.e. scales, hairs, ridges or other patterns; cup (volva) at base of stem, colour, is it tight or loose on the stem, thin, thick or other; is there any mycelium or hairs etc at the base of the stem and what colour. Also important to note what substrate it's growing in.
Sometimes you will be able to capture some of these characteristics but not all. As many as possible just gives more pieces of the jigsaw as it were to help. Maybe just note some of the characteristics if unable to capture them in an image. Thank you for your interest.

Thanks very much, Pam. Will do my best. So many fungi at present so it's a steep learning curve for me!
