User's notes

With the return of the Flying Foxes (posted separately) the Great Egrets have started nesting within the colony. Last year with the smaller number of Flying Foxes there was little Egret breeding but this season is shaping to be more successful. Breeding plumes on the Egrets are very beautiful.
