There were just a few of these smaller-flowered, delicate greenhoods among a number of nodding greenhoods. I'm wondering if it is possible they are black-striped greenhoods?
No worries at all, these “tall greenhoods” aren’t necessarily all that tall. It more refers to a group of similar looking species I think (like B.umbrinus and B.Montanus in Canberra).
Ok, thank you - the wording is misleading. I went on a search for images for tall greenhoods - I'm still a bit confused, because the 'hoods' on these orchids were very delicate, and all were translucent, whereas the descriptor for the tall greenhoods indicated only semi-transparency? It seems as though the labellum hairiness is the defining factor, rather than colour/lack of colour?
