Life and death in the bush. I watched this drama from start to (almost) finish. Dragonfly, minding its business. I thought it was just hovering, until this rather large arachnid quickly descended in front of me, straight to the stranded dragonfly, now literally ensnared in the spider's web. A quick struggle, fluttering of wings, then stillness - but not for the spider, who busily circled and wrapped its food, with intermediate climbs up the web, before scuttling down again to continue the storage. Then, to my amazement, the spider pulled its now tightly bound food source up a string of webbing to the tree above - which is where I left the story.
