Agreed, that species tends to be more or less confined to the coast itself. It’s one of the “large flower group”, with the pith we should be able to narrow it down.

I forgot I promised you a pith the next time I submitted a juncus. It looks like an interesting one. All of the seeds on top in a bunch. Nothing like J. Australis. I wonder what it is. I’m not sure I’ll go back for the pith. I need to chainsaw some tobacco plant tomorrow.
