Did you check for any staining on this specimen after you touched it? If so colour and time it took to stain will be helpful for identification.

Try just running the tip of your fungi knife across the pore surface initially. The other thing I do is to cut it laterally, and time it from the initial cut until colour change occurs. This can vary between the different species.
