A pair were quietly eating, when the noisy squawking of a juvenile alerted me to a family of three who flew in, and shooed off the original pair. The mother bird had a mostly dark head, with a distinctive large yellow spot on her left cheek, and smaller spots on her right cheek. This is a new female in this area (well, not seen over the past four years), and was here a month ago. Photos 1&2 were the mother; photo 3 was the juvenile; and photo 4$5 are of the original female (with her tail indicating she is an older female)
