User's notes

I'm completely confused. I have been following another pair over the years, where, on the surface, they both looked male - but then I noticed one yellow feather under the neck of one, along with that same bird begging for feed. However, this is a different pair. One is an older male, and it would seem the other is a younger male, looking at the red barring on the tail (I could not see any orange, but perhaps there is orange somewhere?) and the lack of yellow head marking. But they acted like a couple - unless they are father and son? However, I'm guessing the younger one is around 2-4 years old?
