Photo not good enough to ID.

Hi @ludomcferran, if you have the opportunity, might I suggest trying to get some additional photos of the plant? The Naturemapr app allows you to take up to 5 photos of each sighting. Some key features that are great to identifying specimens include

Leaves: shape, size, arrangement, and unique characteristics like leaf margin (is it smooth or does it have teeth [serrated]?) are there hairs or spines present?

Flowers: colour, shape, size, number of petals, and the structure of reproductive parts (stamens and pistils) you can easily photograph.

Fruit and Seeds: the type of fruit (e.g., capsule, berry, nut) and seed characteristics, including size, shape, and surface texture.

Stem and Bark: Stem texture (smooth, rough, hairy) and bark features.

Form (which is what you have in this photo): stand back from the plant and take a photo, is it a tree, shrub, grass or something else? Getting a photo of its form can provide important contextual information as well.

This should really help in the ID process.

Will do. I had a BCT recommended bush regeneration contractor with me who identified this tree. I thought they were hawthorn trees. I have about six along the river. They are full of gang gangs in autumn.

Nice! That is great to hear, I didn't know Gang Gang's liked this species. Hopefully you can capture their calls in Autumn and submit it to Naturemapr as a sighting! ;)
