Dotty pair again. These photos include IDing information for Dotty - tail feathering, small dots of yellow feathers framing her face, and a few spots on her wings (not observed previously). Over the past few days, the pair were quite restless, moving to different feed trees every 2-3 hours. The latest move brought them close to the dam, where they chewed until late into the evening. They called from the dam area (I assume to drink), then both called as they swept to the nest tree. Female immediately landed on hollow, moved into hollow, and I think very softly begged. She flew out to her mate, and begged with her head low, as she crawled along a branch to him. He fed her at least three times, before mounting her. When mating finished, the female held herself stock still for one and half minutes (I filmed most of the process). She then flew back down to the hollow and entered, disappearing for nearly four minutes. They then wheeled off to their roost. (nest tree location approx)
