I thought myriospila meant many spots, and atmospila meant foggy spots ?

What about the fine hairs projectiong from the antannae? Is that a feature of Stictochila (genus)?
See the notes against S. sarcoptera from the field guide:-
'Most ACT Stictochila records are Stictochila sarcoptera, although S. myriospila has been recorded in the Brindabella foothills and S. metata at the top of the Brindabellas. (S. delosticta has been recorded elsewhere on the southern tablelands.) These species will be almost impossible to separate in photos'

I chose S. myriospila - closer proximity of the 2 rows of dots from tornus along termen. More & stronger markings all over forewings (this also follows through to the hindwings - although we can't see these on above photo). More spots on wings close/adjacent to thorax. Cluster of dots and suffused markings adjacent to the costa just after the row of dots (1/3 - 1/2 way from apex). Maybe S. myriospila specimens are a bit fresher or less worn, certainly the S. sarcoptera specimens are more damaged (chunks missing) but the thorax & head show no wear/damage and there is a wide fringe esp. on the 1st (of 3) BOLD specimens. I think this means S. sarcoptera is much less strongly marked.
