User's notes

The body is spherical about 8 cm in diameter. The tube coming out the top is about 1.5 cm wide.

When I first saw this creature years ago, it didn't have all the sea weeds growing on it. It looked like a human heart, smooth and red with two big tubes coming out of it. When the tide is low and it is exposed to air the tube closes its mouth forming a small cross shaped slit.

The second sentence sounds like a description of Pyura stolonifera [Cunjevoi ]
