I was surprised to see what looked like a red-tailed black cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus banksii) trio in the trees. I thought they weren't this far south. If it is, perhaps the warmer than normal weather brought them here.

You're right that we don't get Red-tailed Black-cockatoos down here, but we do have Glossy Black-cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus lathami) which is what you have recorded here.
