It could be a Bangalow palm - Archontophoenix cunninghamiana. This palm has been described as occurring on the edge of Wagonga inlet on the Ringlands Rotary walk.
Nope, not that. Bangalow palms have far fewer fronds. I'm certain it is an exotic and a garden escapee. For that matter Archontophoenix should not be in Narooma other than as a garden escapee (which palms can be since their fruits are attractive to larger birds and fruit bats). Its natural distribution ends at Batemans Bay.
