If you think it is a sea hare then it resembles a light coloured Aplysia parvula. The folding in the parapodia are inconsisent with Stylocheilus in addition to the distinct head and flared oral and cephalic tentacles

You’re right Matt. It is a mystery. I had a much closer look and can see what looks like blue edging on the parapodia. No sign of a shell.

In that case (contrasting margin on the parapodia) then I'm 100% it's A. parvula :-)

I had a look at a photo I took in 1991 and it has a blue edging but we called it Aplysia sp. Didn’t know then either!
